I look for patterns and forms, natural and man-made, the interesting shadows and negative spaces, then use flat planes of colour to accentuate these curves and lines, the intersections, how they interact.


I like to emphasise the surprisingly sculptural aspects hidden in industrial processes and modern technology by identifying and refining a small area to create a picture that will leave the viewer curious and questioning.


My work looks at the function and form of the industrial landscape, the relationship  between form and function.  


These same shapes are often echoed in the natural world.
