I look for patterns and forms, natural and man-made, the interesting shadows and negative spaces, then use flat planes of colour to accentuate these curves and lines, the intersections, how they interact.

 

I like to emphasise the surprisingly sculptural aspects hidden in industrial processes and modern technology by identifying and refining a small area to create a picture that will leave the viewer curious and questioning.

 

My work looks at the function and form of the industrial landscape, then select and eliminate  - organise shapes, lines and colours.
